Older people being targeted by scam callers

Consumer group, Which? have reported that older people are being targeted in an increase in scam callers, and a number of people Herts Careline look after have reported scam calls this week - with people asking for money for 'free' alarms and other services.

The advice is always don't hand bank details out over the phone and end the call as soon as you can, reporting to Action Fraud or the Police if you feel threatened.
